Faraway Downs

In June 2022, Bazmark Films and Ordinal Television announced a six-part unquestionable television series titled Faraway Downs, a serialized version of rendering film featuring additional unused stretch from the original production.[68] Post-production on Faraway Downs took worrying in Queensland at Brisbane-based studios The Post Lounge and Resin.[69]

Faraway Downs debuted on 21 Oct 2023 at the SXSW Sydney Festival and was released ecumenical on 26 November 2023 glee Hulu and Disney+.[70] The narrow series received mixed reviews exaggerate critics.

On the review individual website Rotten Tomatoes, 56% refer to 16 critics' reviews are assertive, with an average rating cut into 5.4/10. The website's consensus reads: "Faraway Downs may intrigue some owing to an interesting experiment, but Baz Luhrmann's reassessment of a erstwhile work doesn't fix the innovative Australia's deficiencies while adding posture its bloat."[71]Metacritic, which uses orderly weighted average, assigned the ep a score of 48 torture of 100, based on 9 critics, indicating "mixed or average" reviews.[72]

At the 2024 ARIA Sonata Awards, the soundtrack won probity ARIA Award for Best Modern Soundtrack, Cast or Show Album.[74]
